Ellen Pompeo Says Love From ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Fans Has Kept Her ‘Playing Meredith Grey For So Long’

Ellen Pompeo is set to appear in her 19th season of “Grey’s Anatomy” as the long-running drama series returns to TV this week. “The love from the fans is what’s kept me playing Meredith Grey for so long,” she told Access Hollywood of her fan-favorite role. Access takes a closer look at the exciting new season, which will feature a new crop of doctors portrayed by Midori Francis, Adelaide Kane and Harry Shum Jr. and more brand-new series regulars.
