Former NFL Player Brandon Short’s Daughter Dies In ‘Senseless Act Of Gun Violence’

Former NFL linebacker Brandon Short is mourning an unimaginable loss. The ex-athlete, who played five seasons with the New York Giants and two with the Carolina Panthers, shared on Monday that his 26-year-old daughter had been shot and killed. He wrote in part in a Facebook post, “My heart is broken. I’ve lost the light of my life, my oldest daughter Karli passed away this morning in a senseless act of gun violence. The love she had was so pure and true. The world lost a beautiful soul.”
