Gabrielle Union is opening up about why her daughter, Kaavia, is practicing daily affirmations. The actress told Access Hollywood at the 2023 GLAAD Awards on Thursday how the inspiring routine started. “Proudly, the baby care company that my husband and I founders of, we have affirmations that you can start with your babies from the time they’re born and she started doing those and then she took those to her classroom, then her teacher kind of started doing it so the kids can write their own affirmations. So what you saw, that was just Kaavia off the dome. But, we do them every night before bed,” she explained.
