Gabrielle Union & Jake Gyllenhaal Had To Teach Each Other How To Pronounce Their Names

Gabrielle Union and Jake Gyllenhaal learned a lot about each other on their press tour for their animated film “Strange World”! “Jake is amazing. Now that I’ve learned to pronounce his name, sky’s the limit for us!” she joked to Access Hollywood at the 2022 Governors Awards. She added, “He said Gabriel, and I said, ‘Oh, it’s Gabrielle.’ And he said, ‘Well, since we’re correcting each other, it’s Gyllenhaal.’ … But that’s what happens when you never actually work together! So we were a married couple that never actually worked together.” Gabrielle also shared her pride over daughter Zaya Wade, saying the teen “kills it in every area of life.”
