Gordon Ramsay Reveals He Was ‘A Hot Mess’ During Daughter Holly’s Wedding To Adam Peaty

Gordon Ramsay is one proud dad! On Monday, Jan. 5, the celebrity chef and his youngest daughter Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay joined U.K. talk show “This Morning” to share details about Holly’s wedding to Olympian Adam Peaty. The newlyweds tied the knot days earlier on Saturday, Dec. 27, at the Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Bath, England. While reflecting on the joyous day, the television personality expressed that he was overcome with emotion especially while delivering his speech. “It’s tough, honestly — I mean, being a dad with three daughters, you dream of that moment. That moment arrives, and you’re just like a hot mess. But, the speech was perfect. It went well. You got to find that sort of — you’ve got to be warm, emotional. It was just a tough gig,” he said. Plus, Tilly, who described the day as “so emotional, but incredible,” revealed that she helped her father rehearse his speech on Christmas Eve. “I sat in his room for an hour as he was reading through it – checking his jokes and going through everything,” the 24-year-old said, adding, “No tweaks were needed. It was perfect – it made everybody cry.”
