Hoda Kotb Has Heartwarming Reunion With Sheinelle Jones On ‘Today’: ‘She’s Changing Lives’

Hoda Kotb is proving that the “Today” co-hosts are friends as well as colleagues. Although Hoda officially left the morning show in January, she made an appearance on the Sept. 9 broadcast. When she was reunited with co-host Sheinelle Jones — who’d taken an extended absence from “Today” to care for her husband before he died of brain cancer in May — Hoda couldn’t help but embrace her and give her a few words of kindness on air. “I just said this to Sheinelle, she’s changing lives just by being exactly who she is,” Hoda said.
