Hoda Kotb Takes ‘Vacation’ From ‘Today’ After Daughter Hope’s Health Scare & Hospitalization

Hoda Kotb is taking some much-needed time with her family. The 58-year-old “Today” show host’s co-anchor Savannah Guthrie announced at the beginning of Wednesday’s episode that she is taking the week off, and Craig Melvin is filling in. Hoda’s time off comes just a few weeks after her 3-year-old daughter Hope came home after being hospitalized in the ICU for several days. Earlier this month, she shared an update on “Today” about Hope’s health when she returned after being gone for almost two weeks.
