Isla Fisher, Leslie Mann, Anna Faris, & Michelle Buteau Reveal ‘Immediate’ Chemistry For ‘Spa Weekend’

Isla Fisher, Leslie, Mann, Anna Faris, and Michelle Buteau have teamed up for the hilarious comedy movie, “Spa Weekend”! Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall sat down with the costars ahead of the film’s release who all shared that their chemistry was “immediate,” beginning with the table read. “We did a virtual table read,” Mann noted, with Buteau adding, “Yeah, in like five different time zones. Like a month or something or three weeks before we left. So, I was like, ‘Oh my God,’ like, I could tell you guys were warm and funny and I’m like, ‘I cannot wait to pack my bags and go.’” Their friendship even went offscreen, as the ladies revealed that they would hang out after filming, which took place in Australia, including taking dance classes and having a shopping day. “Leslie is so good at shopping!” Fisher raved, “She was like, ‘Isla, wear this.’ I would never have chosen this – she made me look so cute!” The “Confessions of a Shopaholic” star additionally revealed that she and Buteau almost got tattoos together in Las Vegas during the weekend of the movie’s premiere. “[Fisher] had to eat dinner, and I had to go drink and gamble,” Buteau hilariously explained as to why the pair didn’t go through with their plans. Plus, the actresses praised how Faris has the biggest heart before revealing she’s always in the know, with Buteau describing her as Erin Brockovich. “She would be like, ‘Let me tell you what’s happening with the Blake Lively trial,’ and she’d know everything,” Fisher added. “Spa Weekend” is in theaters Aug. 21.
