Issa Rae Jokes That Usher Serenading Her Was A ‘Dream And A Nightmare’

Issa Rae is reacting to the viral video of Usher serenading her during his Las Vegas performance over the weekend. While speaking to Access Hollywood at ELLE’s 2022 Women in Hollywood event, Issa joked that she still has no words. “All of my vulnerabilities were on display up there. I don’t know if you have ever had a spotlight come down on you and a superstar point you out. It was a dream and a nightmare at the same time, I will never forget it and I love Usher,” she said.
