Jake Gyllenhaal Closes Out ‘SNL’ Season 49 Finale By Singing Boyz II Men During Monologue
Jake Gyllenhaal is showing off his singing skills! The “Road House” star hosted Saturday Night Live’s Season 49 Finale on May 18 where he flaunted his vocal abilities during his monologue as he performed to the tune of Boyz II Men’s “End Of The Road,” and was even joined by cast-members, including Kenan Thompson. Before breaking out in song, the 43-year-old joked about hosting the finale of season 49 rather than the highly anticipated premiere of season 50. “When you think of historic television seasons, the first number that pops into your head is 49. I mean, sure, you know, one more episode and I would have been hosting the premiere of the 50th season, but who cares? 40 is a great number,” the actor said in part.
