Jamie Foxx Emotionally Reflects On His Health Scare in First Public Appearance Since Hospitalization

Jamie Foxx is emotionally reflecting on his recent health scare. On Monday, the actor made a surprise appearance at the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Cinema & Television Honoring Black, Latino & AAPI Achievements, where he was presented with the Vanguard Award by his his co-star, Jurnee Smollett. During his moving speech he held back tears as he spoke candidly about what he went through. This was the first time Jamie has given a speech since he experienced a medical emergency on a film set in April, the cause of his hospitalization remains private. Jamie went on to thank those who supported him during the challenging time, including his daughter, Corinne, and his sister.
