Jason Sudeikis Shares What It Meant to Bring ‘Ted Lasso’ S4 to His Hometown Of Kansas City
After a three-year hiatus, “Ted Lasso” is back! The Apple TV series returned for a fourth season on Aug. 5. Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall chatted with costars Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, and Tanya Reynolds ahead of the season’s release in which Sudeikis, who is also the co-creator and executive producer, shared what made him want to revive the show. “It wasn’t any specific moment – it was a bunch of little moments. And they didn’t really start appearing to me or at least I didn’t start recognizing them until at least 6 months after the show had wrapped. And I mean literally had been on TV cause even through the experience of finishing the show, there’s still the experience of other people finishing the show. That is all part of the process,” Sudeikis said in part. He additionally explained what it meant to him to bring the series and Ted’s story to his own hometown of Kansas City. Plus, the actor revealed what made Tanya Reynolds perfect to join show as Alice Chilton after Reynolds revealed that she was second guessing herself for the role. “Ted Lasso” Season 4 premieres Aug. 5. on Apple TV.
