Jeezy Says Jeannie Mai Marriage Couldn’t Be Saved By Therapy Amid Divorce

Jeezy is addressing his divorce from Jeannie Mai. On Tuesday, the 46-year-old joined actress Nia Long for a tell-all conversation titled, “I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget” In the candid sit down, he got honest about his shocking split from “The Real” alum. “This has not been an easy journey. I can tell you that I’m saddened. I can tell you that I’m disappointed. I can tell you that I’m uneasy,” he said. Jeezy and Jeannie went public with their romance in 2019 and tied the knot in 2021. They welcomed their daughter, Monaco, in January 2022. The rapper filed for divorce on Sept. 14 and is requesting joint custody of their 1-year-old. He went on to explain that they tried marriage counseling, but it couldn’t save their relationship.
