Jennifer Lopez’s Drag Queen Impersonator Loses It Over Surprise Onstage Meeting
When JLo met JoLo! Jennifer Lopez left one of her biggest fans reeling over a surprise moment neither of them will likely forget! The superstar made an unannounced appearance at famed West Hollywood hotspot The Abbey for its Sunday Service drag brunch on Jan. 14, where her own drag queen impersonator known as Jo Lopez had the best reaction to seeing her onstage. Jennifer showed up not only to support Jo but also Abbey founder David Cooley and the release of her latest single and music video, “Can’t Get Enough.” According to a press release, attendees were decked out in their best JLo garb and Jen herself even got behind the bar to help serve Delola cocktails! Jo sported a recreation of one of Jen’s gowns from her music video and went on to share more peeks at the event, changing into a replica of the icon’s famous green plunging Versace from the 2000 Grammy Awards. Though Jo couldn’t have looked more picture perfect to come face-to-face with Jennifer, Jo did joke about feeling unprepared for the introduction of a lifetime. “I have a crusty lace. I have an ugly scar on my chin. My facial hair is coming in. My makeup is oily. And that double chin… I look CRAZY,” Jo captioned one selfie, adding, “but i met Jlo today and nothing else matters.”
