Jesse Williams Says ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Surviving Without Ellen Pompeo Would Be ‘Unlikely’
Jesse Williams weighed in on his feelings about the future of “Grey’s Anatomy” to Access Hollywood while on the Tony Awards red carpet. After news surfaced that Ellen Pompeo, who stars in the long-running hospital drama, may be leaving the show, he revealed that he doesn’t think it’s likely for the show to survive without her. “I don’t know, it would be a different show, she’s the heart of that show, she’s Grey, so unlikely. I don’t work there anymore so it doesn’t matter what I think.”
