Jill Duggar Dillard Speaks Out After Brother Joseph Duggar’s Arrest On Child Molestation Charge

Jill Duggar Dillard and her family are speaking out following Joseph Duggar’s arrest on a child molestation charge. The former “19 Kids and Counting” star, her husband Derick Dillard and their family released a statement on March 19 revealing they were “shocked and heartbroken” to learn that her 31-year-old brother was arrested on March 18 and is accused of molesting a then-9-year-old girl in 2020 during a vacation in Florida. “We strongly condemn abuse. We support the rule of law and hope that justice will be achieved,” the family wrote in a statement shared on their blog. Joseph allegedly admitted his actions to Arkansas detectives and the victim’s father after being confronted by the victim’s father on March 17, per authorities. He was arrested a day later and is currently awaiting extradition to Bay County following his arrest in Tontitown. “Our hearts go out to the innocent juvenile victim of this unspeakable crime and her family. We pray God gives her strength, comfort and hope, and that she is able to get all the help and support she needs and deserves in the days ahead,” the statement read. Access Hollywood has reached out to TLC and the Duggar family for comment.
