Joey Fatone Reveals New Details About Michael Jackson’s Iconic 2001 VMAs Performance With *NSYNC
Joey Fatone is looking back on his *NSYNC days. The singer joins Access Daily’s Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover alongside music manager Joe Mulvihill to discuss their new documentary “Boy Band Confidential,” which features interviews with members from popular ’90s and 2000s groups including *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men about the dark side of stardom at that time. Joey reflects on rekindling contact with former *NSYNC member Jason Galasso, whom Lance Bass replaced, and how the band got Michael Jackson to join them onstage for a now-iconic performance at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards. “Boy Band Confidential” premieres Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ID.
