Johnny Gaudreau’s Wife Welcomes Third Child 7 Months After His Death: ‘Looks Exactly Like His Daddy’

The wife of late NHL star Johnny Gaudreau has welcomed their third child. Meredith Gaudreau announced news of the infant’s birth on Monday, more than seven months after Johnny and his brother were tragically killed on a bike ride. She wrote, “I had our third baby! 4/1/25. Another baby boy. Carter Michael Gaudreau – same middle name as his daddy.” Meredith went on to reveal that Carter’s connections to Johnny didn’t stop there, writing, “8lb 3 ounces, 20.5 inches – exact same as his daddy. He looks exactly like his daddy too.”
