Kate Middleton Sparkles In Rare Tiara Only Ever Worn By Late Queen Elizabeth’s Mother

Kate Middleton knows how to rock a tiara! On Nov. 21, the Princess of Wales and her husband, Prince William, welcomed the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, and his wife, First Lady Kim Keon Hee, to London for their first state visit to the United Kingdom, and she brought out a show stopping accessory for the dinner. Kate wore the Strathmore Rose tiara; one she has never worn before and not many other people have either. The royal, 41, is only the second person to wear the precious tiara in public, as it was part of the Queen Mother’s collection. The name comes from the Queen Mother’s father, who was the Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne. The accessory was a wedding present when she married Prince Albert, according to The Court Jeweller. Princess Kate wasn’t the only one who was glitz and glam for the state banquet. K-Pop band BLACKPINK superstars Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé were all in attendance for the dinner to honor the South Korean president and his first lady.
