Kate Winslet’s Son Encouraged Her To Donate $20K to Help Pay For 12-Year-Old Girl’s Medical Care
Carolynne Hunter got the surprise of a lifetime when Kate Winslet donated 17,000 pounds, the equivalent of $20K, to help her and her daughter, Freya, who has a severe form of cerebral palsy. The mom of four, who lives in Scotland, said that after learning that the family was struggling to pay the crucial electricity costs that support 12-year-old Freya’s medical care, the “Mare of Easttown” actress stepped up to help. “I actually broke down. I was crying,” Carolynne told Access Hollywood.
