Kenny Loggins Shares How Tina Turner Inspired His Hit ‘Top Gun’ Song ‘Danger Zone’
“Top Gun: Maverick” had a record-breaking second weekend and has now made nearly $550 million worldwide. The original 1986 movie was propelled by Kenny Loggins’ massive hit “Danger Zone.” Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans recently joined Kenny at home for an exclusive interview, during which he shared how Tina Turner’s “Private Dancer” inspired the track. “I loved the way she was integrating her R&B thing in to rock and roll, and that’s what I wanted to do with ‘Danger Zone,'” he said.
