King Charles Leaves Hospital With Queen Camilla By His Side After Prostate Surgery

King Charles is out of the hospital following his surgery for an enlarged prostate. “The King was this afternoon discharged from [the] hospital following planned medical treatment and has rescheduled forthcoming public engagements to allow for a period of private recuperation,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement on Monday. After he was discharged, the king was photographed walking out of the hospital alongside his wife, Queen Camilla, on Monday. Charles sported a long navy coat and grey pants as he smiled and waved to a crowd. The 75-year-old monarch was admitted to The London Clinic on Friday to undergo a scheduled corrective treatment for an enlarged prostate. His daughter-in-law Kate Middleton was also admitted into the same hospital for abdominal surgery and has since been released.
