King Charles Remembers Late Queen Elizabeth In Heartfelt Commonwealth Day Tribute
King Charles honored his late mother Queen Elizabeth at London’s Westminster Abbey on Monday in his first Commonwealth Day address as monarch. According to People, the King recalled how much the event meant to Her Majesty and reflected on her legacy as he hopes to follow in her footsteps. “Commonwealth Day was an occasion of particular pride for my beloved Mother, the late Queen … I draw great strength from her example,” he said in part.
