Kyle Busch, NASCAR Champion, Dead At 41 After ‘Severe Illness’
NASCAR champion Kyle Busch has died at age 41. The Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and NASCAR released a joint statement on Instagram on May 21 announcing his passing. It was revealed that he died after a short hospitalization, but his cause of death wasn’t announced. “Our entire NASCAR family is heartbroken by the loss of Kyle Busch,” the statement said. “A future Hall of Famer, Kyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation. He was fierce, he was passionate, he was immensely skilled and he cared deeply about the sport and fans.” The statement continued by sharing condolences to Kyle’s family and asking for privacy at this time. Earlier on Thursday, the family announced on X that Kyle would be pulling out of a race this weekend because he was experiencing a severe illness.
