Madonna & Julia Garner Share Photos Together After Musician’s Biopic Was Paused: ‘We’re Madonna’

Madonna and Julia Garner are keeping hopes of a future biopic collaboration alive! On Tuesday, the “Material Girl” singer took to her Instagram story to share photos with the “Ozark” actress. In one of the snaps, the pair eat French fries and Madge captioned it “Bitch, we’re Madonna.” The duo reportedly united at a birthday dinner for photographer and filmmaker Steven Klein and seemed to hint that Madonna’s paused biopic, with Julia depicting the legendary pop star, may still happen in the future. In January, Variety reported that Universal Pictures was not moving forward with the project and claimed the Grammy winner put it on hold as she focuses on her upcoming world tour, which kicks off in July and runs through January 2024.
