Naomi Judd’s Autopsy Report Confirms Her Cause Of Death

An autopsy report obtained by Access Hollywood on Friday confirms country star Naomi Judd died by suicide. The report indicates that Judd died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in her home in Tennessee. It stated that said she left a note with suicidal connotations nearby. The autopsy also showed several prescription drugs in her system that are used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder and bipolar disorder. Judd was found unresponsive in her home by family on April 30. She was then transported to Williamson Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead around 12:30 p.m. She died one day before her and her daughter, Wynonna Judd, were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
