Oprah Winfrey Reacts To Recent Praise For Her Bold Style Ahead Of ‘The Color Purple’

Oprah Winfrey is in her purple era! “The Color Purple” executive producer caught up with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans at the Los Angeles premiere for the film, and reacted to the recent praise her bold styles have been getting. “I’m telling you, I have a wondering young lady named Annabelle who works with me and you know. For the most part I dress myself but for occasions…so, I said to her when that strike ended…we were literally just waiting, waiting, waiting and I’m telling you four days after the strike ended, here she comes up to my house with racks of purple things,” Oprah explained. The 69-year-old also reflected on being in the original adaptation and gushed about the film and cast. “The Color Purple” is in theaters Dec. 25.
