Pedro Pascal seemed to get choked up during a heartfelt speech for the 2023 MTV Movie and TV Awards. The actor won the award for Best Hero for his performance as Joel in “The Last of Us.” In his pre-recorded acceptance speech, Pedro shared his gratitude for the honor and shared some touching words for young people. “I want to say that you deserve a world that serves your interests. You deserve to be healthy. You deserve to be safe. You deserve for your individual rights to be fought for and protected. You deserve real heroes in this world, because you are real heroes to me, and I love you,” he said.
