Princess Kate Middleton Home After 2-Week Hospital Stay For Abdominal Surgery: ‘Good Progress’

The Princess of Wales is continuing her recovery at home. Kate Middleton has left the hospital after a two-week stay following abdominal surgery. Kensington Palace announced the latest news in a social media statement on Jan. 29, confirming that the 42-year-old is back at Windsor with her family and “making good progress.” The statement went on to note that both she and husband Prince William are “grateful for the well wishes they have received from around the world” and wanted to send “a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided.” Kate’s medical situation was first made public earlier this month, with the palace confirming that the mom of three’s operation was successful and that she “appreciates the interest” in her health. Further details on her condition have been kept mostly under wraps but NBC News previously reported that it is not related to cancer.
