Queen Elizabeth Breaking Tradition By Appointing British Prime Minister From Scotland Not London
Queen Elizabeth is breaking tradition. For the first time in her 70-year reign, the monarch is appointing the next British Prime Minister from Scotland not London. A spokesperson for the queen told NBC News she will appoint the new Prime Minister at Balmoral, her castle in Scotland where she has been staying at this summer, instead of Buckingham Palace. The palace said the move is to help accommodate her mobility issues.
