Rebel Wilson Reveals She Lost Her Virginity At Age 35: ‘People Can Wait’

Rebel Wilson is opening up about losing her virginity at age 35. The “Pitch Perfect” alum discusses the topic in her upcoming memoir and told People that she hopes her experience will encourage young people to explore their sexuality at their own pace. “People can wait till they’re ready or wait till they’re a bit more mature,” she said. “And I think that could be a positive message. You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.” Pressure is something Rebel felt, telling the outlet she avoided the subject when she was younger and even lied about it at one point. “There was one vague time, I think I told my best friend, ‘Oh, yeah, I just did it to just get it over with when I was like 23.’ Just to really avoid the questions,” she said. Although the 44-year-old actress calls herself a “late bloomer,” she’s happy she waited and admits her journey would have been different if she were 20 years younger.
