Ree Drummond Will Make Acting Debut in ‘Candy Coated Christmas’

Ree Drummond is stepping in front of the camera in a new way! The Food Network star is set to make her acting debut in the new Discovery+ movie, “Candy Coated Christmas.” Ree is slated to play a, fittingly, cheery owner of a bakery in the fictional town of Peppermint Hollow for the holiday flick, which marks the first original film for the streaming service. “To say this has been a highlight of my year (my life?) is a huge understatement,” she said. The movie is set to premiere in November.
