The actress and singer accompanied her Oscar-winning husband to the premiere of his new movie “Asteroid City” at the film festival this week, where the couple was photographed having what looked like a heated discussion with an event staffer on the red carpet. Following speculation that she and Tom had a verbal altercation with the worker, Rita clarified that the photos did not depict what really went down. “This is called I can’t hear you. People are screaming. What did you say? Where are we supposed to go?” she wrote on an Instagram story. “But that doesn’t sell stories! Nice try. We had a great time! Go see Asteroid City!”
