Ryan Gosling Responds To ‘Barbie’ Criticism He’s Too Old To Play Ken: ‘Your Hypocrisy Is Exposed’
Ryan Gosling isn’t here for the haters. Fans can’t wait to see the Oscar nominee bring Ken to life on the big screen in the upcoming “Barbie” movie, out July 21, and he had a candid response when acknowledging some naysayers’ criticism that he’s too old for the role. “I would say, you know, if people don’t want to play with my Ken, there are many other Kens to play with,” he told GQ in a new cover story. Ryan, 42, joked that he finds it “funny” that haters have taken the time to sound off on the topic, calling it a “clutching-your-pearls idea of #notmyken” and pointing out, “like you ever thought about Ken before this?”
