Ryan Gosling is revealing nowadays he prefers to play characters who spend more time in fun light fantasies like Barbieland and La La Land – and it’s all because he’s a dad. He revealed he’s staying away from darker roles and films because of how they might affect his family. “I don’t really take roles that are going to put me in some kind of dark place,” Gosling told The Wall Street Journal. “I think ‘La La Land’ was the first.It was sort of like, oh this will be fun for them too, because even though they’re not coming to set, we’re practicing piano every day or we’re dancing or we’re singing.”
