Ryan Seacrest Gives Funny & Sentimental Goodbye Speech To ‘Live!’ Family Ahead Of Final Show

Ryan Seacrest is saying one last goodbye to his “Live!” family. The 48-year-old morning show personality hosted a farewell dinner for his “Live! with Kelly and Ryan” staff on Wednesday night and he got up and gave a speech that was posted to the show’s Instagram page and seemed to bring out all the emotions, from laughter to tears. “There really is no other place in our business like the ‘Live!’ show. I’m grateful to have been a part of it for six years,” he said to the crowd. Ryan continued his speech by listing all the things he’s going to miss – and not miss – about the show, before turning his attention to his soon-to-be former co-anchor Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, who will be the new co-host, before thanking the staff one last time. The “American Idol” host’s final appearance on “Live!” is set for Friday, April 14, and Kelly’s husband will make his first appearance as host on Monday, April 17.
