Savannah Guthrie Leaves ‘Today’ Mid-Show After Positive Covid-19 Test, Hoda Kotb Been Out For A Week

Savannah Guthrie unexpectedly had to leave NBC’s “Today” on Tuesday in the middle of the show after testing positive for Covid-19. The co-host started the live broadcast with her colleague, Sheinelle Jones, but abruptly left during a commercial break. “It has been an interesting morning for us. As we said Savannah left early, she wasn’t feeling great and she took a covid test and it came back positive and as soon as we found out, she rushed home to rest up,” Sheinelle said.
