Shannen Doherty Shares Video Of Her Prior To Having Tumor Removed From Head

Shannen Doherty is getting candid about having cancer. On Wednesday, the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum shared a video on her Instagram showing her right before she went into surgery to have a tumor removed from her head earlier this year. In the clip, the 52-year-old talks to a nurse about what she can expect following the procedure. Although Shannen appeared to be in good spirits in the clip, she wrote in her caption that wasn’t necessarily the case. “January 16, 2023. Surgery. I had a tumor in my head they wanted to remove and also biopsy. I am clearly trying to be brave but I am petrified,” she wrote. “The fear was overwhelming to me. Scared of all possible bad outcomes, worried about leaving my mom and how that would impact her. Worried that I would come out of surgery not me anymore. This is what cancer can look like.” Her candid post comes one week after she revealed on Instagram that a CT scan performed on Jan. 5 showed that her cancer had spread to her brain.
