Shawn Mendes Addresses Speculation About His Sexuality: ‘I’m Just Figuring It Out Like Everyone’

Shawn Mendes is addressing the conversation surrounding his sexuality. The “Mercy” singer opened up to fans during a concert in Colorado on Monday, Oct. 28. “The real truth about my life and my sexuality is that, man, I’m just figuring it out like everyone,” he said on stage. The 26-year-old explained he’s opening up now because of years of speculation which he has written about in his upcoming song “The Mountain.” Mendes has previewed the song on his For Friends and Family Tour. The singer has previously dated Camila Cabello and been linked to Sabrina Carpenter. Mendes upcoming self-titled album “Shawn” is out Nov. 15.
