Shonda Rhimes Shares ‘Simple Rule’ To Developing Hit Shows: ‘Only Make Shows We Really Wanna Watch’
Shonda Rhimes has been the mastermind behind a number of hit shows, and now she’s divulging the secret to developing one. “It’s a very simple rule, we only make shows we really want to watch,” she told Access Hollywood. Shonda revealed that she works with her producing partner, Betsy Beers, to pick shows they are passionate about. “We only make shows that really feel emotionally appealing to us,” she added. “Bridgerton” Season 2 premieres globally on Netflix on March 25.
