Simone Biles, Megan Rapinoe And More Awarded Presidential Medal Of Freedom From Joe Biden

President Joe Biden awarded Simone Biles, Megan Rapinoe and 15 others the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Thursday. At 25 years old, Simone made history as the youngest person to ever receive the medal. Megan was also present at the ceremony, where President Biden celebrated her for being a leading force in equal pay in sports. Noticeably absent was Denzel Washington, who reportedly missed the ceremony after testing positive for Covid-19 and will be given the medal at a later date.
