It’s over for Solange and her husband of nearly five years, Alan Ferguson. In a lengthy Instagram message, the “Cranes in the Sky” singer revealed that she and the music video director “separated and parted ways” earlier this year. Solange called Alan “a phenomenal man” who “changed every existence” of her life. “I’ve always tried to live in my truth, no matter how ugly or full of love it is. I’ve also tried to carve out the space to protect my heart and my life as it unfolds, evolves and changes,” she wrote in part.
