SZA Reveals Advice Beyoncé Gave Her In Throwback Interview: ‘Be Consistent’
SZA is leading the pack with nine 2024 Grammy nominations for her second album “SOS,” but it was back in 2017 when SZA scored her first Grammy nominations for her debut album “Ctrl.” Access Hollywood was with her shortly after she heard the news, and she revealed music stardom was never her goal. “I didn’t want to be a singer. I never wanted to do anything music related, and it was never a dream of mine,” she told Access in 2017. But even before her career skyrocketed, Beyoncé was in her corner giving her solid advice. “She just told me to be consistent no matter what and like to fight through any kind of moment, because people try to take her off her game on stage or anything else and you just have to fight through it,” she said.
