Taylor Swift Announces 1989 (Taylor’s Version) Release Date On Final Night Of Eras Tour In L.A.

Taylor Swift is closing out the first leg of her Eras Tour in style! On Wednesday, the “Bad Blood” singer announced she will be releasing 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in just two months. While on stage at SoFi stadium in L.A., she thanked her fans for being there for her as she re-records all of her former albums. “Now, here we are on the last night of the U.S. leg of the Eras tour in the eighth month of the year on the ninth day. You might have noticed there are some new outfits in the show. There’s something that I’ve been planning for a really, really, really ridiculously, embarrassingly long time, and instead of telling you about it, I think I’ll just sort of show you,” she said as she unveiled the cover art and release date for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) before singing her hit “New Romantics,” People reports. The “Lover” singer wore never-before-seen blue outfits for the special occasion in honor of her Grammy-winning pop album. She also posted a photo of the cover art on Instagram. “Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you soon! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th. To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long! Pre order 1989 (Taylor’s Version) on my site,” she gushed. Her sixth performance in Los Angeles caused fans to deliver an 8-minute standing ovation in celebration of her accomplishment. Taylor’s L.A. shows have brought out a slew of celebs, including Taylor’s former bestie, who fans speculate she had a falling out with, Karlie Kloss, Lili Reinhart, Lucy Hale, Kaia Gerber, Mindy Kaling and more.
