Taylor Swift Makes Emotional Return To Eras Tour In Pouring Rain After Postponing Show & Fan’s Death

Taylor Swift is in a wild weather era. The singer, 33, took to the stage in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Nov. 20 and performed her Eras Tour concert in the pouring rain. This was her second concert in the South American city as she postponed her Saturday night show to Monday due to “extreme temperatures.” Taylor’s return to stage came after a fan, 23, named Ana Clara Benevides Machado tragically passed away right before she kicked off her first night. “I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with a shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show. I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young,” Taylor penned on Instagram. During her rain performance in the secret song section, the popstar got emotional as she performed “Bigger Than The Whole Sky” from her “Midnights” album, which seemed to be a tribute in honor of the young fan’s death.
