‘The Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner, 71, Looking For Love After Wife Of 43 Years Died
“The Golden Bachelor” is here! On Monday, ABC announced who the lead of their new senior spinoff reality show will be. “I’m Gerry, I’m 71-years-young and I’m going to be the next Bachelor because it’s never too late to fall in love again,” he said during the announcement which aired on “Good Morning America.” Gerry, who will be the first person to ever search for love on the franchise in his 70’s, reacted to the exciting news and opened up about why he wanted to join the show and what he is looking for in a partner. “I’d love it if I found a partner who is high energy. Someone who maybe pays pickleball, someone who maybe plays golf,” he added.
