‘The Sandlot’s’ Marty York Speaks Out About Mother’s Murder: ‘It’s Been Difficult’ To Process
Marty York starred as Yeah-Yeah in 1993’s baseball classic “The Sandlot.” He was 12 when the movie was released, and it was just the beginning of his success as a child star. However, five years later, Marty quit Hollywood after nearly losing his life in a car accident. Twenty years passed, and Marty was ready to make a comeback, but his life took another tragic turn when his mother was murdered.
