Valerie Bertinelli Feels ‘Hurt’ Over Being Cut From Food Network’s ‘Kids Baking Championship’

Valerie Bertinelli will not be back for the next season of “Kids Baking Championship.” The longtime co-host of the Food Network show revealed in an Instagram video that she was not asked to return to the show, getting the disappointing news the previous night. “I didn’t want to talk about it last night, I wanted to sleep on it, because it really hurt my feelings. And I know it’s not supposed to logically. I know that it’s business. Budget cuts, right? But it really hurt my feelings to know that I’m not going to be asked back to be on Kids Baking Championship. It really sucks,” she reflected in part, adding that the show “saved [her] life” during a difficult chapter in 2022. Access Hollywood has reached out to Food Network for comment.
