Valerie explains that the courage to get “naked” emotionally was the most important part of putting the book together and how it inspired her to take it one step further and strip down literally for the cover as well. The 65-year-old also shares why coming forward with deeply personal revelations, including her childhood sexual assault at age 11, was a difficult decision but ultimately worth it. And, Valerie reveals that she’s hoping son Wolfgang – to whom the book is dedicated – gives her a grandchild one day!
