Viola Davis’ new EGOT status is beyond her wildest dreams, so much so even she didn’t believe it could happen! In a resurfaced interview with Access Hollywood from 2016, the newly crowned EGOT reacted to the possibility of earning the title ahead of her Oscar win for “Fences” in 2017. “Yeah, well listen the ‘g’ in EGOT will not be got because I do not sing,” she quipped. More than 6 years, Viola Davis has joined the EGOT ranks thanks to her Grammy win on Sunday for her audio book.
